Lomon and Kim Hye Yoon's 'No Tail to Tell' Rom-Com Sets Premiere Date

The upcoming drama No Tail to Tell, featuring Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon, is set to make its debut in the coming month.

In a refreshing twist, No Tail to Tell follows the journey of an unconventional gumiho who shuns the idea of transforming into a human, instead embracing her true nature to indulge in life's simple pleasures. Her path unexpectedly intersects with that of a charismatic yet self-absorbed soccer star.

A star-studded cast and crew gathered for the script reading, including director Kim Jung Kwon, writers Cho A Yeong and Park Chan Young, as well as actors Kim Hye Yoon, Lomon, Lee Si Woo, Jang Dong Joo, Choi Seung Yoon, In Gyo Jin, Lee Seung Joon, Hong Soo Hyun, and numerous other talented individuals.

Kim Hye Yoon plays the part of Eun Ho, a free-spirited gumiho with a strong aversion to transforming into a human. To avoid this fate, she deliberately keeps her distance from kind acts and romantic entanglements with men.

Lomon portrays Kang Si Yeol, a highly skilled soccer athlete who is confident in his abilities, yet still driven to succeed.

Lee Si Woo takes on the role of Geum Ho, whose life is inexplicably linked to Eun Ho's. In contrast to Kang Si Yeol, Jang Dong Joo portrays Hyun Woo Seok, a soccer player with a vastly different lifestyle. Meanwhile, Choi Seung Yoon brings to life Lee Yoon, a wealthy heir to the Geumsoo Group and one of Eun Ho's most important clients.

In Gyo Jin takes on the role of Park Yong Gil, a seasoned coach who once led the national soccer team and now oversees a small, local fourth-division club. Meanwhile, Lee Seung Jun portrays Hyun Sang Cheol, a devoted father who dedicates himself to helping his son, Hyun Woo Seok, achieve success in soccer.

Hong Soo Hyun has a special role as Hong Yeon Su, the person who recognized Kang Si Yeol's exceptional abilities and nurtured his career, serving as his partner and agent for nearly a decade.

According to the producers of No Tail to Tell, their show brings a breath of fresh air to the traditional gumiho folklore, thanks to its distinctive premise and perspective. They highlighted the on-screen dynamic between lead actors Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon, who play a modern gumiho and a soccer star, respectively, promising that their chemistry will make the wait for the show well worth it.

The upcoming K-drama No Tail to Tell is scheduled to make its debut on January 16, 2026, with details about its international streaming release still pending, so be sure to keep an eye out for further updates.
